Last Saturday night, while camping with a group at Shawnee Forest Campground, 33 of us decided to head into town for dinner at the Vienna Diner. We called ahead to give them plenty of notice, and they were more than ready for us.

First Impressions
The diner has a large, well-lit parking lot with room for everyone—always a relief when you’re arriving in a convoy.

Service – ★★★★★
They seated our entire group in the back room and assigned several servers to keep things moving. It was some of the best service I’ve ever experienced. Drinks were constantly refilled, orders came out promptly, and—impressively—not a single plate was mixed up or missing.

Food – ★★★★★
I ordered the Club Sandwich Deluxe, which came with two sides: crispy, piping-hot French fries and a fresh salad. The sandwich itself was huge—easily enough for two people.
Dawn, chose the two-piece catfish fillets with fries and a salad. Our tablemates enjoyed a Philly cheesesteak with coleslaw and cottage cheese, plus a 21-piece shrimp dinner. Every dish arrived hot, fresh, and flavorful.

Value -★★★★★
For the four of us, the total was about $70 including tip—a very fair price for the generous portions and outstanding service.

Bottom Line
If you’re anywhere near Vienna and want a hearty, sit-down meal with friendly, top-notch service, you can’t go wrong with the Vienna Diner. We’ll definitely be back.

Would help if you said what state this was in. Many states have a Vienna.
